Texas Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice applies solely to Texas residents and supplements our general Privacy Policy above, in compliance with the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA).
In the preceding 12 months, WS Title has collected the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers (name, address, email, phone, IP address)
- Financial information and commercial information related to real estate transactions (e.g., payment details, property records)
- Internet/network activity on wstitle.com
- Professional information related to real estate closings
We do not collect or process sensitive personal information as defined under TDPSA (e.g., racial/ethnic origin, health data, precise geolocation) without your consent. We do not sell or “share” your personal information for targeted advertising or profiling.
Sources of Personal Information
We collect information from you directly (e.g., forms, inquiries), automatically via your device (e.g., cookies), and third parties (e.g., real estate partners, public records for title searches).
Business Purposes for Collection
We collect and use personal information for:
- Providing title insurance, closing & escrow, and underwriting services
- Site maintenance and analytics
- Legal compliance and fraud prevention
Disclosures of Personal Information
In the past 12 months, we have disclosed personal information to:

Your Texas Rights Under TDPSA
As a Texas resident, you have the right to:

- Opt out of the sale of your personal information, targeted advertising, or profiling (not applicable – we do not engage in these activities)
- Appeal a decision regarding your request
- Non-discrimination for exercising your rights
To exercise these rights, submit a verifiable request via email at [email protected] or call [Insert Phone Number]. Provide sufficient information to verify your identity. We will respond within 45 days (extendable to 90 days if necessary, with notice). Requests are free up to twice per year. If we deny your request, you may appeal by contacting us at the same email or phone; we will respond within 60 days.
Starting January 1, 2025, we will honor universal opt-out mechanisms for applicable activities.
